Local Transportation
Subway
One subway ticket is valid for one ride (including
transfers) for every traveling distance.
Tickets are sold exclusively at Subway ticket windows. Running hours: from 5:30
AM to 12:30 AM.
It is very easy to use the subway service in Mexico City. Each station has a sign and every line has a different color. Passengers will find the train itinerary displayed in each platform.
Buses, minibuses, and trolley buses
Minibuses usually run from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Passengers can get on and off the buses only at the bus stops.
Electric trolley buses run only in some avenues, and stop only at the trolley
stops.
Other Transportation
Bicitaxis (Pedi cabs or Bicycle Hauled Rickshaws)
It is possible to board these bicycles, which tow a cabin with two passengers,
at the Historic Center. By this means, it is possible to travel along the main
streets. The price fluctuates between 20 and 30 pesos ($2.00 to $3.00 US),
according to the distance.
Tourist Streetcar
Tourists can board on the streetcar on the following stops:
Historic Center: Angela Peralta, between Bellas Artes and Alameda Central.
Monday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Minimum party of fifteen people
is required.

From Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturdays and Sundays from
