Weather

Puebla enjoys year-round, spring-like weather.  The climate is ideal for taking part in a variety of outdoor sports and activities, and for taking in the local culture, architecture and scenery.  Rains are seldom a feature here; when they do come they tend to be during the months of April thru November, but as with most monsoon areas, the rains tend to be fierce and brief in the late afternoon, leaving the evenings dry and cooled off.  You may need a wool pullover for cooler mornings and evenings, especially in the winter months.

The climate varies according to the region and thus we can find the climate tempered in the declivity of the Gulf, the same as in the north Saw, where rains in abundant form.  In the plains, prevail the dry climate and of steppe.  In the snowfall saw, the climate is tempered and wet, with temperature decreases in winter.  In the valleys of Puebla City and Tepeaca, the climate is tempered and wet and in the eastern region, are registered variations that go from the tropical rainy until the polar climate in the high mountain.  In Matamores and Chiautla the climate is tropical rainy and in the southern region, dry and of steppe.

Sunny days (70-80 F, or 21.1 – 26.6 C ) and chilly nights (40-50F, or 4.4-10C) mean you’ll need layers of clothing and warm pajamas.  There is almost no precipitation from November through March.  Afternoons are rainy from April through October.
