Ecotourism

The natural environment of Acapulco was one its first attractions and the beauty of its bay and its surrounding areas continues attracting visitors from all over the world. Acapulco and its ecosystem are characterized by the exuberance of its tropical forests, where it is very common to find a great variety of fruit trees and exotic vegetation. The fauna is rich in aquatic birds, such as pelicans, swallows, storks and seagulls, along with other species such as iguanas, armadillos, squirrels and badgers. The lagoons of Coyuca and Tres Palos have all of these elements and you can observe abundant species of aquatic birds in their natural habitat.
