Oaxaca has a great selection of night spots to suit those looking for some culture and those looking for a party. Locally hosted parties are big in Oaxaca and all over Mexico for that matter. Traditional Mexican theme night parties are popular with locals and there is always room for a few more partiers. Check with your hotel about any public parties going on in your area during your stay. Hosted parties usually include dinner, dancing, a show and/or live music (usually authentic Mexican mariachis) and all the drinks you want for a fixed price. These parties are almost always amazing value for your money.
