Puerto Vallarta offers great surfing opportunities, with the best waves breaking on the North Shore. Two favorite surf spots are Sayulita and Punta de Mita at El Anclote. At both these locations, the waves break right in front of the beach restaurants, making them accessible and enjoyable even for those on the beach just watching.
